A couple refuses to accept that summer is over. For a last time, they head to the coast with the intention of spending two afternoons together between sand dunes and sea water. The temperatures have long been too cold for sandals and shorts; the blustery autumn wind is no substitute for cosy rays of summer sun. On the way to the beach, they cross paths with a woman they know loosely. Upon arrival, they look in vain for a dune to take shelter from the wind; a small dam is built and defended hard against the tide, an attempt to erect a windbreak is made. These desperate struggles against the encroaching elements are merely a brief interlude before the situation unravels into a disaster of an entirely different magnitude. A contemporary cosmic catastrophe.

We listen to music and we are on our way. We look at things and the world differently than before, so that things don’t always repeat themselves, but get better instead: Two boys meet on a round trip with the Hamburg U3 line. Something evolves – not much but yet everything. The train runs through station after station. Lights changing on the outside and inside. Passengers and protagonists in the midst of noise & music. Glances, silence, a KitKat is broken, a Coke is being drunk. Outside: sunset & nightfall constantly interrupted by tunnels, platforms, posters & facades. The train passes the boarding station again. The timeline of love could be a circle. A common sensations music movie.

Autumn again on planet Earth. Eternally united, a couple of pink rose petals endure the slings and arrows of a heavy thunderstorm. A romantic-conceptualist bedtime story of resistance and redundancy, or the awkward ambivalence of truth, dream, life and love.

It's Christmas. The train stations are decorated, the times are festive ... A movie about tradition and resignation. How long do you have before you consider yourself not only deviant, but also sick? How long can each individual endure this state? How long can we all endure it as a community? A Capitalist Realism Questioning. A Hold On Christmas Diary.
