This is the story of Alice Junior, a transgender girl full of life, who wants to give her first kiss, but first, she just wants to be who she really is.

Miguel, 17, lives in a small town in the Brazilian countryside and dreams of becoming an actor. When he passes an audition in a big city, he is faced with the dilemma of leaving behind his home and his best friend, João. Miguel realizes that running away is easier than saying goodbye.

After his wife's death, Fernando becomes a quiet and introspective man who raises his son, Daniel by himself. Every night, while the boy is sleeping, Fernando "revives" his wife by touching her clothes and organizing her personal belongings. Paulo does not get along well with his mother-in-law, who judges him unprepared to raise the boy without help. Lonely, Paulo has to resist the advances of his recently divorced sister-in-law.

Martelo is a 70-year-old fisherman who has not yet been able to retire. He is the lighthouse man, points his light towards the island of Superagüi and illuminates earthly desires: better working conditions, retiring with dignity, returning to the way things used to be.

The film tells the story of Chen, a Chinese immigrant who lives as an invisible person in the city center. Amid homesickness, difficulty communicating in Portuguese and tiredness from work, Chen can't fit in anywhere. At night, alone and when the streets are empty, the asphalt becomes meditation and there he can dream. It is a fiction created and set in real locations in collaboration with the characters themselves, all non-professional actors who play themselves, creating a portrait with documentary aspects, both of their lives and of the center of Curitiba.

After years of drought, a mystic potato sprouts in the remote springs of the Aiatak River. Soon, everything will be ready for the great ritual of Tango. For the people, this is the beginning of a new era. Inspired by the short story 'A Hunger Artist' by Franz Kafka, 'Tango' is a plunge into human nature and its contradictions.
