Based on the short story by Yu. Shcherbak, ‘Harmonic Inspiration.’ The film’s characters meet at a concert in the Kyiv Philharmonic. That December evening, filled with Vivaldi’s astonishing music, becomes a part of each of the four people’s lives, helping them recall and understand their past.

Kolya Chimbartsev arrived at the boarding school of the port of Krasin from distant Odesa. He is to be met by his hydrologist father. But he has not returned from the scientific station located on the ice floe and has not made radio contact. Kolya and his new friends decide to go on the air themselves through the school radio station. Having broken the device and wanting to delay punishment, the guys are going to the movies. But when they hear a warning about a storm, they hide under the bed and fall asleep, leaving, however, a note that they are going to the movies. An alarm is sounded in the village: the children have gone out in the blizzard...

Ivan Sergeevich Kashkin — the bath attendant of the most prestigious metropolitan bath. It’s not easy to get to him: reputable diplomats, well-known footballers, and the heads of the ministry are seeking the honor to steam. Imagine the surprise of the two scoundrels when, on the Mediterranean coast, they come face to face with Papik, who theoretically should be “steaming on a bunk.” After certain search activities, it turns out that this is not Papik, but his exact copy, the Englishman Michael Smith. The scammers come up with a cunning plan to replace the “twin” Smith with Papik, who is languishing in prison.
