Viktor, the protagonist, a war hero of the war between the Red Army and the Turkish 'basmachi', has to fight off bandits that hope to steal gold from Viktor's village town. TIme to pick up arms once again.

A story about the clash of two cultures, two worlds - traditional Tajik culture and the new, invading and imperialist in its nature, Soviet culture, about the formation of self-awareness of the Tajik dekhkanin in the 1920s-1930s.... Poor Hasan thinks and experiences a lot before he is able to comprehend the changes in his life, to realize that old traditions and customs are no longer valued. Bent by need and disenfranchisement, he finds the strength to stand up against the Basmachi.

Based on the novel by A.Sidki. Three short stories about the life of a modern Tajik village and about Jura Sarkor, a collective farm foreman, a restless, hardworking, wise old man.

The action takes place in the early 20s in a mountainous village in the Pamirs, where people live in almost primitive poverty and scarcity. A detachment of Red Army soldiers comes here. The commander tells the residents that from now on they will live according to the laws of the Soviet government. The squad soon leaves, leaving only one person. He organizes a school for the children and becomes its first teacher. For the first time, children see the globe and learn that the earth is round. And they are learning to read and write for the first time... Based on Mirsaid Mirshakar's poem "Lenin in the Pamirs".

The film is about a Tajik potter, endowed with an extraordinary talent as an artist, but unable to find his right path in life. But the youngest daughter will continue her father's creative traditions, opening up the wonderful world of folk art to people.
