At eleven years old, Billie is well on her way to following in her mother's footsteps, who explored space as an astronaut.

Autumn 1952: Committed journalist Hedda and her husband Winfried ambush Felix Kersten, former massage therapist to SS Reich Leader Himmler, on a train to Oslo. Kersten is said to have helped thousands of concentration camp prisoners to freedom during the Nazi era—at least according to his own account. But Hedda has her doubts. She considers Kersten a mythmaker who is using fabricated heroic deeds to put himself in the running for the Nobel Peace Prize. What begins as an interview develops into a tense, psychological cat-and-mouse game: Kersten, rhetorically brilliant and armed with alleged evidence, encounters a stubborn opponent who relentlessly confronts him with contradictions. As the conversation comes to a head, the announcement of the Nobel Peace Prize winner draws ever closer....

An almost romantic comedy on the edge: Holocaust researcher Toto is having a major life crisis. Just when things at home and work could not get worse, he unwantedly gets a new assistent assigned to himself. Zazie is french, jewish, slightly germanophobe and supposed to help Toto to prepare a major congress. As the star of the congress suddenly wants to pull out, the problems are piling up and the two have to fix it.

For a job, Alina has to accept longer working hours and long business trips. The single mother has to reorganize her everyday life with her daughter Lilia and asks her ex-boyfriend Jarek to teach her the violin lessons. While Lilia finds it difficult to come to terms with the new situation, Jarek soon finds pleasure in contacting violin teacher Clara and her sons - much to the dismay of Clara's husband. When Lilia gets the chance to change to another teacher as a master student, the contact with Clara breaks off. Until Jarek and Clara meet again by chance a few months later.

"Clouds Over Paradise" tells the story of Konrad, an inconspicuous little man. His life revolves around his job at a rundown bank and his only friend, a goldfish. Konrad's only means of escaping his drab life are bizarre daydreams and his subjective perceptions of an absurd world. This all changes one day when the beautiful Maria comes to the bank to close her account. The inept Konrad, who knows that his life is in need of a radical change, does everything to meet the woman of his dreams.

A team of inspectors investigates murders in and around the small Upper Bavarian town of Rosenheim, and they still have plenty of time to see idyllic landscapes and luxurious pre-alpine villas and enjoy sumptuous Bavarian fare with beer.
