The aftermath of a shocking explosion at the Chernobyl nuclear power station made hundreds of people sacrifice their lives to clean up the site of the catastrophe and to successfully prevent an even bigger disaster that could have turned a large part of the European continent into an uninhabitable exclusion zone. This is their story.

A long-divorced Chinese couple reunites in Texas for their daughter’s college graduation. The mother stays in the daughter’s small apartment, while the father returns each night to a hotel room of his own. The daughter drifts between her parents and her own thoughts. At times, they appear to be a family. After years of absence, what remains between them goes unspoken, as the father keeps his distance, lingering nearby.

Taking place in 1991, Tigran, who teaches math at a village school to avoid the army, loses the girl he loves. Consumed by abject wretchedness, he decides to enlist as a volunteer in the Nagorno‑Karabakh war to give meaning to his hollow life.

A phone call that puts the hero in front of a choice between life and death:

Alik, 25, has been raised by his grandfather, conductor of a renowned classical orchestra in post-Soviet Armenia where cultural institutions are failing and oligarchs allied with the mafia hold power. Alik, a clarinetist, is the virtuoso in this orchestra whose existence is seriously threatened when its key sponsor is murdered. One night, Alik comes into possession of a hired killer's mysterious telephone, which is used only to commission hits. Manipulated by a crook's daughter with whom he falls hopelessly in love and wishing to save the orchestra at all costs, Alik decides to take on the identity of the killer known as "The Virtuoso" and attempt to carry out his contracts. But Alik is a virtuoso musician, not a killer.

Inspired by true events, this is a film about a childhood friendship, torn apart by the horrific Hamidian massacres infiltrated by the Ottoman Empire under the rule of Sultan Abdul Hamid II (1894-1896).

Luka, a young and ambitious soldier, embeds himself in the legendary Fort Kairos where heroic warriors defend the remains of civilization. His hopes to serve as an elite sniper are crushed when he is assigned to maintenance and must submit to the code of Kairos: obedience-endurance-sacrifice.
