Ira is 27 years old. And from the point of view of her mother, the director of the school, Ira lives absolutely wrong: she plays in the troupe of a small theater, earns money by washing windows and is in love with an unreliable creative person Leo, an aspiring director. She ignores "normal" men and does not even want to dye her hair blonde, which, according to her mother, is an easy way to success in her personal life. This state of affairs could continue for a long time, but the theater is on the verge of closing, and Lev suddenly disappears.

Successful but lonely Maria and her adult son are already sharing the common space of their apartment with irritation. Having accepted a marriage proposal from Mikhail, who is courting her, the woman hopes to build personal happiness for the first time in many years and moves in with her lover. Her hopes for a family idyll are destroyed by the man's adult son, who has returned to settle scores with his father. And Mikhail turns out to be not at all the person he wants to seem to be. Taking a forced step into conscious solitude, Maria for the first time makes a choice in favor of the most important person in her life - herself.

The picture tells about a difficult triangle of relations - the terminally ill woman Marie and the young couple Kira and Mark, who have lost their own child. Now they are ready to adopt Marie's five-year-old son. But the woman has a condition, she wants to make sure with her own eyes that the young family is ready for adoption. Kira and Mark are unaware of the price they will have to pay for this opportunity.

For the first time in a long while, the father shows up at the kindergarten and, together with his son, turns a game of hide-and-seek from the teacher into a fantasy adventure — spinning tales of dragons, portals, and magical worlds. When the mother arrives, the father tries to explain himself, but his words no longer hold any weight with her. Resigned, he asks for five minutes to say goodbye and tells his son he must fly off to another world for twenty years to preserve their magic. In the boy’s memory, his father transforms into a massive dragon — soaring up to the ceiling and flying away through a drawn door. All that remains is a toy: a plastic dragon with a broken wing.

1998, Nalchik. A Jewish family is in trouble: the youngest son and his bride do not come home, and in the morning, a ransom note arrives. The ransom is so high that the family is forced not only to sell its small business, but also to seek help from its fellow tribesmen.

The film follows two student cinematographers who, as the war approaches Moscow, refuse to be evacuated and instead volunteer to be front-line cameramen capturing the horrors of war and heroism of the soviet soldiers. At the same time, we witness another storyline taking place in the US. After the premiere screening of the already completed documentary “Moscow Strikes Back”, one of the members of the Academy Awards selection committee is trying to persuade his fellow colleagues to establish a new category of Best Documentary in the upcoming Oscars event.

The film is about a day in the life of Elizaveta Petrovna Glinka, also known as Doctor Liza. Moscow, 2012. The Glinka family prepares for a celebration: thirty years together. The closest friends are invited for dinner, the sons have arrived. Of course, Liza has freed up this day for her family. There’s just a trifle: to stop by the Fund and see the weekly patients at the Paveletsky Station. But the days of Doctor Liza are always full of surprises… In a hospital in a Moscow suburb a five-year-old girl is dying. The duty doctor has to discharge Eva. Due to medical formalities the child, who suffers from cancer, is left without painkillers. In utter despair, the girl’s father turns to Liza for help. When Liza cannot find a way to help the child within the system, she decides on a desperate act…

Eighteen-year-old Vasya Tikhonova is travelling with her parents to a medical resort near Moscow, seeking treatment. She has a congenital heart defect, and her mother has always been overprotective. But when the Tikhonov family arrives, a murder is committed at the resort. And within seven days, Vasya’s life will change dramatically. She will meet her first love, she will take a big risk fighting for it, and she will make a discovery that is scary, but grants her freedom.
