In a post-apocalyptic near future devastated by global nuclear war, Dastagir, one of the few survivors, fights to regain his lost love and rediscover his humanity. While he fights his way through the ruins of the old world, we start to understand the complicated nature of this simple love story.

The film represents a kind of testimony about the political and moral suffering of women at the time of the Informburo Resolution (IB) in 1948, and it was made based on the memoirs of a Montenegrin woman who was sent to Goli otok during the IB Resolution in Yugoslavia. It documents the suffering of women during Yugoslav socialism, and from Goli Otok the film turns its attention to a smaller, women's camp on the neighboring island of Sveti Grgur, i.e. Šagargur...

Moonlight is an experimental film. It was made by playing with different video techniques, which synthesised with the music, capture the dance of the moon and the night shaddows on the path where they meet and touch in the process of cosmic blending.
