The movie deals with the championship-winning German soccer team of 1954. Its story is linked with two others: The family of a young boy is split due to the events in World War II, and the father returns from Russia after eleven years. The second story is about a reporter and his wife reporting from the tournament.

1985: The outbreak of nuclear war drives the inhabitants of a small town into a bunker. Among them is a married couple whose son is missing. Their different ways of dealing with loss reveal the apocalypse of a love affair.

Eifel landlady Toni Janssen has the blues. The unexpected single life is just as depressing as the decline of the "Kupferkanne" without the cooking skills of her "ex". The otherwise tough restaurant owner would prefer to crawl under the comforter all day! But giving up is out of the question for her mother Heidi. It's not just business success that has a rejuvenating effect on the optimistic woman in her mid-fifties. Ron, the gardener hired by the investment-happy business founder, surprises her with his charming advances. What Heidi initially finds hard to believe soon sends her into a frenzy of love.

Adolescents in the amphibious situation between child and adult try to cope with their emotions and their environment. Right there they would need limits, a foothold and hope and yet they signalize the opposite. Between loss, extinct love, parental problems and their own needs the parent generation tries to understand or at least to save something.

SOKO Kitzbühel is an Austrian television series produced by ORF and ZDF. It is a spin-off of the German crime series SOKO 5113. It is set in the renowned Tyrolean tourist centre of Kitzbühel. The production company "beo-Film" has produced the show since 2001. The German abbreviation SOKO stands for Sonderkommission, "special commission", a task force with specific duties.

SOKO Leipzig is a German police procedural television programme, a spin-off of the earlier German police programme SOKO 5113. It was first broadcast on 31 January 2001, on German television channel ZDF. On 12 November 2008, the first part of a two-part crossover between SOKO Leipzig and British police procedural The Bill was aired, with the same version being shown on both ZDF and British television channel ITV1.
