Kuroi Misa, a girl with Satanic powers, mysteriously appears in various high schools. Carrying a dagger and a heavy leather bag, she uses her powers to eliminate the evil forces that thrive on deadly sins of the human race. Her ultimate aim is to cleanse the earth and rebuild her broken family.

Kentaro lives in the suburbs with his two little brothers. They are poor, but they are happy. The factory Kentaro works for, though, goes bankrupt on pay day and Kentaro finds himself out of a job and with even less money. The brothers are thrown out of their apartment and Kentaro, a born optimistic until then, decides that he must aggressively pursue "money". This drama depicts the success story of Kentaro in his search for money and a better life.

After a botched robbery at the Kurokawa Financial Company leaves security guard Satoru Aizawa (Nagase Tomoya) fatally wounded, a freak lightning strike pulls him back from the brink of death, leaving him with the unwanted ability to see the dead. While hunting for the truth behind the heist that claimed his best friend's life, he crosses paths with Toranosuke Kihara (Okada Junichi), a cynical freelance detective who shares his strange gift. The two former strangers form an unlikely partnership, navigating the Tokyo underworld to settle scores for the living and find peace for the restless spirits left in the wake of the city's crimes.
