A biography of the Georgian primitive artist Nikoloz Pirosmanishvili (1862–1918), better known as Pirosmani, who died of starvation and sold his paintings to bars and restaurants for food and drink. The film experiments with color control techniques based on the painter’s style.

Dato’s friends learn that his lover Tamriko is getting married to another man. They decide to get Tamriko and Dato closer to each other. They ask Tamriko a nurse, to go with them in the ambulance outside the city. Tamriko learns that she is kidnapped and demands that she is brought back home. However, Tamriko gets to like the company of her "kidnappers" and stays.

The film is set in southern Georgia during Ottoman control, where inhabitants, who were driven from their homes due to enemy invasions, try to return home through different means. One of these inhabitants is the young scholar Antimoz.

A sad story about a day in the life of an old captain, now retired. The sadness of this story is softened by a noble dose of humor. It is built on the discrepancy between a quiet life with its small, retirement joys, worries, and the inertia of the old captain's still vivid imagination. Each collision of dream and reality evokes both a slight pain and a smile of understanding. With the help of subtle, unobtrusive details, the director has managed to create the impression of a life that is passing away, sailing away, saying goodbye.

Niko, a man struggling with alcoholism, returns home from treatment to live alone with his father. Determined to rebuild his life after a history of failed relationship, he tries to restart his career with old friends and search for a fresh purpose.

The construction of an irrigation channel in the Alazni Valley faces many obstacles . Common welfare requires compromises , and no one wants that . Vazha , the chief construction engineer , will be at the center of the contradictions .

The friends decide to marry the young veterinarian, Bachuta, and make a list of possible brides, but Bachuta is already in love with Taliko, who works with him on the farm.
