A wolf wants to catch a sheep. The flock is well guarded. He puts on a sheepskin, but the animals laugh at him. So he dresses up completely as a sheep, practicing his gait and bleating. When he goes hunting in this disguise, he is eaten by another wolf.

The factories pollute the air so much that every living creature in town must wear a gas mask if they want to survive.

A man and his donkey rescue someone from a crevice, who repays the man with gold and the donkey with sugar. Later, they hear another cry for help and proceed to a second rescue.

A man waits at the side of the motorway with a tow rope, waiting for a car to tow him. Many, many cars go by without stopping until the driver of a small dilapidated car takes pity on him. The rope is attached. The other end of the rope leads to a pot-hole in the road. Lurking insides the pot-hole is a surprise.

A princess laments for her treasure. The knights Dick and Schick rush off to fetch it. A little bird joins them and they take it with them and defend it.

A man visits a variety of locations in an attempt to find a place free of noise and distraction, only to discover he may be looking for something which does not exist.

The entire globe is barren; there is no green left. A long line of people edges slowly forward. Under the strictest security, the people manage finally to get into the museum, where they can see… a tree!

Two neighbours argue about which one of them should get rid of a pile of rubbish.

For his mockery a witch transforms the pert boy Jacob into an ugly dwarf, but teaches him at the same time how to cook. Jacob quickly becomes a master of his trade and is named the prince's first cook. Only the mysterious herb "sneeze-with-passion" is unknown to him. Based on a fairy tale by Wilhelm Hauff.

A small man sits on a station bench. A chunky, initially polite guy joins him, uses his newspaper, eats his travel provisions on the train, follows him and harasses him on the bus, in the cab, in his house, makes himself at home. When the harassed man calls the police, the patrol arrests him and the ruffian triumphs. The little boy is released. Now he is helplessly at the mercy of the intruder's harassment and is thrown out the door by him.

Young birds are kept in line, but one of them insists on facing another direction. Being grassed by his comrades, he is visited by their master, who will try to reeducate him.

The fumes emanating from a traffic jam make everybody, and every animal, cough.

The song of the sirens, sitting on the rocks, attracts to her kingdom sailors from beyond: Greeks, Vikings, Pirates ...

A very little man attacks two huge feet and fights with all his power against them until his downfall. While dying, he is still convinced that he is the winner. However, the feet continue running like nothing happened.

A cage is searching for a bird, but all its efforts fail. Without its help, a bird finds a way in. The cage closes its door and stands proudly on a pedestal, for it is now worthy of admiration.

The camera is ready for the perfect shot! The bus driver pays special attention when he notices the camera. But the cameraman is actually waiting for the bus to depart, so he can film the wonderful scenery behind the bus.

Faustus wants to invent a fire that is stronger than all previous flames. Then death approaches him. In order to prolong his life, he makes a pact with Mephistopheles. When he has found the fire, he burns the contract and is ready to die. Death shows him life in the form of Margaret, with whom Faust falls in love. In order to regain his youth, he sells the flame to Mephisto. Faust enjoys the idyll of love while the Black Knight, Mephisto's servant, subdues the land with fire. When Faust refuses to enter the service of evil, his wife, child and home are destroyed by the flame. Faust makes another pact with Mephisto and invents a fire that blows up knights and devils. This time, Death orders him to discover the fire of life.

An elegant crowd attends a meeting but, while they listen to the speech, all they really care about is the buffet.

A beetle flees from a bird. There is no hiding place where it is safe from its pursuer. It hides in a dark crevice where the bird's beak cannot reach. The beetle laughs at the bird. It has not yet realized that it is sitting in the space between the earth and the sole of a man's shoe.

Riding outside, the princess and the court juggler Honorio discover a fire in the marketplace. Honorio kills a tiger that has escaped from the jugglers, a lion is tamed by a boy's wonderful flute playing and returned to the jugglers, whose livelihood it provides.

The Prince of Porcelain, who only knows how to play with vain ladies in a cool porcelain world, wants to own the poor potters' myrtle tree. It was given to them instead of a child. The prince is sick with longing. The potter couple bring him the myrtle tree. He falls in love with it and one night discovers that a beautiful girl lives in it.
