Salty Somewhat Spicy

Gur and Gaia live in a small house. The relationship takes a turn when they discover that their house is slated for demolition. As doomsday approaches, the ground begins to crumble under their feet, exposes fractures in their relationship.

The Cakemaker

Thomas, a young German baker, is having an affair with Oren, an Israeli married man who has frequent business visits in Berlin. When Oren dies in a car crash in Israel, Thomas travels to Jerusalem seeking for answers regarding his death. Under a fabricated identity, Thomas infiltrates the life of Anat, his lover’s newly widowed wife, who owns a small Café in downtown Jerusalem. Thomas starts to work for her, creating German cakes and cookies that bring her Café to life. Thomas finds himself involved in Anat’s life in a way far beyond his anticipation. To protect the truth he will stretch his lie to a point of no return.

A Haunted Home

"A Haunted Home" returns to one of the bloodiest and most forgotten events in the annals of the State of Israel: the massacre that took place on April 11, 1974 at 15 Yehuda Halevi Street in Kiryat Shmona, in which 16 of the residents of the building were murdered by a terrorist squad. Through interviews with the survivors and family members of the murdered, alongside archival materials never before shown, the historical, political and cultural contexts of the massacre are woven together.

Farewell Column

2020. Corona era. A journalist with an opinion column who receives hateful messages and threats on his cell phone tries in vain to reach his autistic son who lives in a hostel. His daughter went to protest in Balfour and is not answering the phone. He and his wife go to look for her at the demonstration and try to repair their relationship.

Redemption

If I'll Ever Forget You

A neurotic young woman gets off the bus at the wrong stop in Jerusalem, a city she doesn’t know well. She calls her boyfriend to come and rescue her. The encounter with a strange city sets off a stormy subconscious journey which will compel her, for the first time, to choose whether to live her life with her boyfriend or on her own.

Spachtel

An activist couple finds a temporary shelter in a decaying flat at the verge of the city after taking part in an anarchist action. He's obsessively trying to make the place a safe haven while she longs back to the riots. The film was made after the Tel-Aviv riots for social justice and it shows the conflict between the will to fight for change and the need in a more quiet and bourgeois life. The conflict is represented by the two characters and by the tension between the shut interior and the chaotic urban exterior.

Bad Nazi - Good Nazi

He is known as the Nazi officer who saves "The Pianist" -Wladyslaw Szpilman, in the Roman Polanski film, but his German hometown from which he ran the local school and went to the war, still refuses to recognize him as a hero. 70 years after the end of the war, a group of residents demand to commemorate the Nazi Officer, Wilm Hosenfeld, in the local school and the reactions are stormy. In the meantime, Hosenfeld's grandchildren discover their grandfather's secret diaries in which he documented Nazi war crimes and they embark on a journey of discovery. During this journey, they will find out that their grandfather was a serial savior and aside from "The Pianist", another 60 people owe him their lives.

A Minor Crime

With the aid of four actors in a rehearsal room, filmmaker Nur Fibak lays open the police investigation and court proceedings against the man who had molested her, revisiting the case as it unfolded from the moment she decided to seek justice. The film opens a unique window into the workings of the Israeli criminal justice system in sexual offense cases. Behind closed doors, during the cross-examination, everything is permitted, including asking invasive questions, doubting the woman on the witness stand, and forcing her—that same traumatized child, now grown up—to experience a second kind of abuse.

The Secrets of War

A cinematic investigative journey to a story hidden by the IDF for 50 years - a brutal massacre of 17 Israeli prisoners by Syrian soldiers in two tragic events on the Golan Heights front. An event shrouded in secrets and lies that is a metaphor for the first days of that terrible war that caught the State of Israel in its weakness and disgrace .

Karaoke

Meir (Sasson Gabay of The Band’s Visit and Shtisel) and Tova (Rita Shukrun) are a long-married couple living in an upscale high-rise in Tel Aviv. Itzik (Lior Ashkenazi) is their new neighbor, a worldly modeling agent and bachelor. The couple attend Itzik’s karaoke parties and soon become obsessed with him, competing with each other, and other residents of the building, for his attention.

Assaf wasn’t brought up by his father, and when he dies, he meets his family for the first time, and as the only son, he’s revealed as the sole successor. When Assaf falls in love with Miriam, a homeless woman who stays in his backyard, a Pandora’s box is unleashed.

Three young Israeli students take a school trip to Poland to visit the sites where the Nazis carried out the extermination of European Jews during World War II.

Beyond the Mountains and Hills

David is discharged from the army after serving for 27 years. He returns to his home and family after being distanced from them for years, and tries to find himself in his new civilian life. He believes that, like his friends who retired from the military before him, he too will find his way in some managerial position in the private sector, but he has difficulties adapting to the pace of the “new Israel”, a competitive culture obsessed with success and money.

Last Days of Summer

Darwish is a young man with existential fatigue. He returns home from work with one concern: to fix the broken fan, While his neighbor is shot in the building's lobby. Darwish gets stuck at the crime scene looking for solutions for the fan while police investigate the scene.

Midlife

Yonatan is a pilot, who on his 40th birthday discovers that he missed a phone call from his wife Sherry, while cheating on her. Now that the cancer is discovered in her body, he tries to fill in the gaps with her. Sherry reveals to him that a decade ago, she refused to help her young and wild sister, Ahinoam, after she left her husband. Sherry asks Yonatan to help her reconcile with Ahinoam.
