17-year-old Asher is split between his charismatic teacher and his brash father, who wants him to take over his scaffolding business.

When ten-year-old Aya is left at a kibbutz where children are housed by age instead of gender, not only does she have to get used to dealing with a lot of children, making friends and enemies, she also has to get used to sharing her room with boys... and sharing the showers with them too.

The main character of the film is Ophira (Dina Limon), a drawing teacher, who is retiring. With the daily routine no longer needed, she decides to fulfill a long-held dream of becoming an artist. Ophira asks her husband to clear out one of the rooms in their house to create a studio, and she asks her friend, a renowned gallery owner, to organize an exhibition for her future paintings. Despite not receiving much support from either of them, she starts working on her art. However, it soon becomes clear that Ophira doesn't really know what to paint about. The film explores the refusal to age and the aspiration to understand oneself at any age.

Rushing from work to his parents' home, Omri is pulled into a family intervention when his mother denies stealing the neighbors' Bimba (tricycle), sending the family on a nighttime trip to the ER where he first faces her mental illness.
