1995
MovieAnimation
A film from the "Impressions" series, created using classical animation techniques, executed with painting on celluloid. The viewer's guide through selected paintings by Marc Chagall is the figure of the Jew – the Eternal Wanderer, a symbol of the artist's feelings and experiences. Through the composition of selected paintings or their fragments, the film evokes the artist's life experiences and his self-definition of the world. The nostalgic atmosphere of longing for his native Vitebsk, the realities of his stay in Paris, his return to Russia, and the experiences of the revolution, "inscribed" in the poetics of Chagall's paintings, create a unique atmosphere within the film narrative, created by the artist's imagination.

A film miniature to classical music. An atmospheric film impression introducing the viewer to the aesthetic motifs of the Far East: a fan, a vase with Eastern ornaments, a Chinese teacup, fabric. A butterfly flies out of the opening fan and leads the viewer through details to panoramas of Chinese landscapes, only to return to the closing fan in the film's final sequence. The film image synchronized to the rhythm of Fritz Kreisler's music. The animated film, made in watercolor technique on paper, retains the character and delicacy of Chinese painting.

MovieAnimation
A film from the "Impressions" series, created using classical and cutout animation techniques. The author subjectively selects Gustav Klimt's paintings to transcend their structures in his filmic interpretations. He presents his own, often surprising, vision of the works of art. He draws on his own experiences and feelings to present their poetic interpretation. At the same time, he strives to preserve the works' internal coherence and the aura—the atmosphere—created by the painter.

Joan Miró · 1997Joan Miró
1997
MovieAnimation
A film from the series "Impressions" made using classical and trick animation techniques, inspired by the paintings of Joan Miro. Deformed figures - ideograms from Miro's paintings, float in an undefined space. The plastic forms of the sun and moon symbolize the elements associated with the cosmos - the activity of day and the magic of night, the eternal relationship of light and darkness. The natural link between the cosmos and the earth are the birds, which, returning from their skyward wanderings, smash the remnants of the night with their wings, only to disappear a moment later into the light of day.
The Fall of Icarus · 1997The Fall of Icarus
1997
MovieAnimation
The film is a very personal interpretation of the myth of Icarus, inspired by Pieter Bruegel the Elder's paintings "The Fall of Icarus" and "Children's Games." The film emphasizes the essence of Icarus's drama by showing his loneliness in a world of people preoccupied only with themselves.
