Arkadiusz Jakubik's directorial debut plays out on many levels. One of them is, as in the title, a simple love story. However, parallel to it and on the same footing is the reality of filmmaking.

He also explains the circumstances of his arrest to the locals. The next day, the forester is killed by a mysterious bullet. Zdzich was the last person seen with him. This causes unrest in the village.
