A married man, returning to his small town for a high school reunion, finds himself torn between his long-ago high school girlfriend and her 17-year-old daughter, whose boyfriend is the star player on the school's basketball team his fellow alumni are playing.

A small-town kid hears about the wild nights of cruising the boulevard in Van Nuys, California. He drives out there to check it out, and gets involved with drag racers, topless dancers and bikers.

"Under the Bridge: The Criminalization of Homelessness" is a documentary film about one summer in Indianapolis, a tent city under a bridge, a man named Maurice, and the criminalization of homelessness in the United States. The unofficial "mayor" of the Davidson St. camp, Maurice is an older, dreadlocked Black man who has dropped out of "normal" society to minister to the homeless. His camp under a railroad track becomes a real community, supported by church volunteers, until police and bulldozers close in to shut it down.

The team at A Bigger Vision Films noticed that most documentaries on homelessness offer few solutions, so they set out to create BEYOND THE BRIDGE, an ambitious documentary film about solutions to homelessness. The film crew drove over 40,000 miles to visit 12 cities and dozens of service providers, those with lived experience and policy makers to answer this question: How can this country solve homelessness in a comprehensive way? The answer: Working with deep coordination — a single homelessness response systems plan based on the principles of Housing First with community buy-in from law enforcement, judicial systems, business communities, service providers, volunteers, and leadership from the mayor and county executive, all working from the same page.
