The traveler who never leaves his cabinet – that’s what his contemporaries used to call Jules Verne. He was a person with an extraordinary lust for life whose fantasy had no limits, he literally taught us how to dream. Which of us did not aspire of circling the world with Phileas Fogg and Jean Passepartout? Who hasn’t dreamt of roaming the sea with captain Nemo on his quest for vengeance? This film is yet another piece from the series “Great Dreamers” which already includes some of the most well-known visionaries such as Nicola Tesla (“Free Energy of Tesla”) and Konstantin Tsiolkovsky (“Tsiolkovsky’s Worlds of Miracle”). By having utilized advanced CGI technologies we were able to recreate the life of outstanding persons, pioneers and path breakers in science and research.

Lena Sitnikova - obeying the will of her parents and her authoritative grandma - goes to the Medical School in order to keep the family tradition. However she dreams about a totally different life. For now she doesn't know what she exactly wants, till she meets Lyova - a painter, in his artistic depression. He introduces her into the world of art, galleries and art business. Lena finds her inner self, but the chosen life doesn't suit the plans of her parents: their daughter ought to be a medical student, even if they will have to force her. Lena goes through a lot of troubles: she fights with her parents, learns how to kiss and to say «I love you», how to walk the line on high heels and to defend her right to do what she wants. And there will certainly be a «happy end»...

A look at the story through the prism of the present. Artists in front of the audience reincarnate in the heroes of the film (the poet Vladimir Mayakovsky; the women he loved and left him; the friends who admired him and backed away from him; the ruthless “Knights of the Revolution” who proclaimed him his banner) and lead the viewer “to” Mayakovsky, forcing him to live his love, creative, and human drama as his own.

Just before Christmas, things that are difficult to explain happen in the house of the widow of the local organist. Muddy traces left in the house, mysterious shadows and strange sounds make Bogusia increasingly believe that these may be signs from her tragically deceased husband.
