Officer Wahid is assigned to work undercover to enter the ring of the largest drug trafficker, he uses the help of the repentant night girl Naima, to impersonate the long-disappeared daughter of the drug leader, who welcomes them into his home before his sister discovers the truth.

In the 1940s, the policeman Imam moves to Cairo to work in an area devoted to prostitution. There he falls in love with the prostitute Nusse who works with the bully Jalal without knowing that she is practicing this profession. He is defended by an imam who beats an English soldier who tries to intercept her and assault her. He is tried and dismissed from service, then returns to live in the neighborhood and look for work, and becomes a pimp, a quarrel between him and Jalal al-Fatwa. Each trying to prove his strength and impose his power.

Qamar dies on her wedding night from a random shot. Her husband Jalal decides to take revenge, and resorts to magic in order to reach immortality. He becomes wicked and sinks into sin and everyone decides to get rid of him.

The film presents a part of the biography of legendary artist Umm Kulthum since 1944, shedding light on her unfinished romance like her relationship with King Sharif Sabri's uncle, and Ahmed Rami. And her role in the revolution of 1952 and after the defeat of 1967 and the sacrifices she made.

The film tells the story of an ex-burglar who is struggling to lead a normal life with his wife and little son. His elder brother pressures him to return to burglary.

In a social drama framework, the events of the film revolve around when Kamal falls seriously ill, and hides the matter from everyone. He gets to know the widow Hayat, who works in a nightclub and is coveted by the manager Rashid. A love story arises between Kamal and Hayat, and their lives.

Baheya, a poor singing and dancing girl in a family of carnival entertainers, falls in love with a wealthy writer named Ashraf. She later takes a factory job and is followed there by Ashraf; he eventually asks her to marry him. Baheya agrees to the proposal. When Ashraf presents her as his intended bride to his mother Eqbal she objects because of their social and class differences.

Abu Zeit al-Hilali works in the sale of beans and falafel, and decides to move to Zamalek, and marries Mervat without the knowledge of her father in his building, but her feelings are still attached to her lover Alaa.
