A cop from Los Angeles travels to Miami to seek revenge against Cuban drug runners who killed his friend.

Seemayer Studios presents a new documentary about the American Hotel in downtown Los Angeles and the Arts District that surrounds it. Since 1979, the American Hotel has been the beating heart of a rich community of artists who began moving into the deserted factory buildings between Alameda and the Los Angeles River.

From 1977 to 1981, multimedia artist Stephen Seemayer shot a Super-8mm movie of his creative friends in their unnatural habitat: the deserted industrial buildings of Downtown Los Angeles. His camera captured them at work and at play. - The Light Bob, Linda Frye Burnham, James Croak
