The story of the villagers of Çaykaşılı in Kastamonu, caught between their traditional way of life and industrialization. Aşur, who migrated from Kastamonu to Istanbul, is a man who makes a living by chasing small jobs in the construction sector and committing fraud. He abandons the renovations he takes on without completing them, taking the payments and disappearing. As a result, he finds himself in trouble with customers who have lost their money and workers who have not been paid.

Thirtysomething Suat still lives with his parents and works at his father's store when not practicing as goalie for the local football team, Esnaf Spor. The neighborhood's greatest wish is for Esnaf Spor to win the amateur league championship.

What would you be willing to risk to have a child? On one side stands Kahraman, the son of the well-established Yörükhan family; on the other, Elif, a small-town girl from a humble farming family. Two people from two completely different worlds, standing side by side...
