Meu Amor is a Portuguese telenovela which aired from October 19, 2009 to October 23, 2010 on TVI. The show won the 2010 International Emmy award for best telenovela.

An airplane disappears mysteriously; on board was Verónica, the twin sister of Vitória, the victim of a fraud by a millionaire. Presumed dead, Verónica assumes the identity of her sister and plans to avenge herself on the entrepreneur's family.

In imperial Brazil, a young woman stripped of her reputation is forced into exile from polite society. Recasting herself as Madam Beja, she builds an elite pleasure house that becomes a hub of political intrigue, economic power, and forbidden desire, using charm, intelligence, and ruthless strategy to bend the same men and institutions that once destroyed her.

With the support from her husband Rodrigo, Leonor's stepfather, Madalena offers to serve as a surrogate to Leonor through intrauterine insemination so that she and Bruno can have a biological child. But this pregnancy, which had everything to be the greatest act of love, is not only illegal, but proves to be an unparalleled atrocity.
