Bellator keeps up its busy end-of-year schedule by going head-to-head with the UFC today for Bellator 165, and the promotion just might have a chance to pull in some decent ratings with these fights, especially the one at the top of the card. In the main event, Michael Chandler, in his second stint as Bellator lightweight champion, puts the title he won in June on the line against former UFC lightweight titleholder Benson Henderson. In the co-main event, Michael Page, one of the most electrifying fighters on the Bellator roster, faces Fernando Gonzalez in a fight that was booked and scratched on two previous occasions. The fight card also features the professional debuts of Keri Anne Taylor-Melendez and “Baby Slice,” Kevin Ferguson Jr. Bellator 165 takes place at SAP Center in San Jose, Calif. Bellator 183: Henderson vs. Pitbull took place on September 23, 2017 at the SAP Center in San Jose, California. The event aired live in prime time on Spike TV. The main event featured a Lightweight bout between Benson Henderson and Patricky Freire. Also occurring on the show is Bellator Kickboxing 7 headlined by bantamweight title bout between Kevin Ross and Domenico Lomurno.

Bellator 189: Budd vs. Blencowe 2 took place December 1, 2017 at the WinStar World Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma. The event aired live in prime time on Spike TV. In the Bellator 189 main event, women's featherweight champion Julia Budd faced Arlene Blencowe in a rematch. The pair originally fought at Bellator 162 with Budd winning via majority decision. The co-main event was a middleweight bout between Rafael Lovato Jr. and Chris Honeycutt.

Bellator 199: Bader vs. King Mo is scheduled to take place on May 12, 2018 at the SAP Center in San Jose, California. The event will air live in prime time on Paramount Network. This card featured the fourth and final bout in the opening round of the 2018 Bellator Heavyweight World Grand Prix Tournament as Light Heavyweight Champion Ryan Bader moved up to face Muhammed Lawal.
