In a patriarchal society, an ordinary Georgian family lives with three generations under one roof. All are shocked when 52-year-old Manana decides to move out from her parents’ home and live alone. Without her family and her husband, a journey into the unknown begins.

Soviet Georgia, 1983. Preparations for Nika and Ana's wedding are in full swing and it's a big day for both of their elite families. For the newlyweds and their friends, however, the celebrations are in fact part of a cover-up, as they plot an audacious escape from the Soviet Union.

Nina is barely 40, she is attractive and successful: a stable marriage, a trusting relationship with her husband, a little son, a favorite job. The idyll of pleasant stability is broken by a call from the past - Nina's ex-lover Ruslan is dangerously ill and asks her to come to Tbilisi to see him, perhaps for the last time. Gogliko, a Tbilisi street boy, and Spartak, a Sukhumi sniper, are forced to solve problems of the street and problems of the state together. For one, the goal is to get back the money he lost gambling; for the other, it is to carry out a general's absurd military mission. In spite of it all, their paths cross and their lives are changed forever.

The Criminal Man tells the story of the main engineer of a factory, 25-year-old George Meskhi, who has accidentally witnessed the killing of a famous goalkeeper. All this turns his life upside down. George begins to follow the young and beautiful wife of the goalkeeper and becomes interested in everything related to this crime. He studies the faces of the criminals, looking for a clue to some mystery in them. This is a film about a metamorphosis and about the birth of a murderer.

The detective will have to figure out the mysterious death of an English secret agent who came to Tbilisi to sell important secret information.
