In a room under the roofs of Paris, a twenty year old boy receives a man he met through the Internet. After they have sex, a summer storm breaks and the boy asks the man to stay until it stops raining.

In the 1960s, British painter Francis Bacon surprises a burglar and invites him to share his bed. The burglar, a working class man named George Dyer, accepts. After the unique beginning to their love affair, the well-connected and volatile artist assimilates Dyer into his circle of eccentric friends, as Dyer's struggle with addiction strains their bond.

Working with the French Secret Service, Indy joins the legendary Lafayette Escadrille flying unit and embarks on dangerous airborne reconnaissance missions behind enemy lines. A run-in with German Ace Manfred von Richthofen leads to a death-defying dogfight that leaves Indy grounded and hot-in-pursuit of German aircraft designer Anthony Fokker. The Blonde Bombshell is a British two-part biographical miniseries created by Ted Whitehead, about Diana Diors, an actress and sex symbol considered to be the English counterpart to Marilyn Monroe. Keeley Hawes plays Diors in her formidable years (1945–60), and by Amanda Redman in her further career (1965–84).
