A hidden photograph found by Adam, in which his pregnant mother embraces a strange man, makes the 16-year-old suspect that his father may not be his biological parent. Adam runs away from home to find out the truth. He not only solves his mystery, but also finds a friend in the person of Przemek, who is two years older, and meets his first love, which may destroy that friendship.

In this intense and inspiring family portrait, 12-year-old Laura is our guide, and she shows us her life alongside her deaf parents. We will get to see her unusual, challenging, and surprisingly ordinary everyday life.
