Brazil, 1988. An unemployed tractor driver hijacks VASP flight 375 and orders commander Murilo to crash the plane on the Planalto Palace to kill the president - whom he considers guilty for the country's devastating economic crisis.

It's just another luxury car being stolen on a street in São Paulo... or not. A thief easily gets into the SUV parked on a quiet street, but when he tries to get out, he discovers he is trapped, without water or food.

This biopic follows Silvio Santos in his 1989 presidential race, as a young journalist joins his campaign to uncover his past and what drives him to run.

The film is inspired by true events that took place in the last century in the “Colonia” hospital in Brazil. Whoever didn’t fit the standards of society, or their family’s perception of it, was locked away, tortured, and killed. There were altogether more than 60,000 victims. Hope dies last, and some of the inmates don’t give up the fight. We’re reminded of film classics such as “One Flew Over the Cookoo’s Nest” or “Alcatraz”.

Paulo is an experienced doctor who works at a Primary Healthcare Unit on the outskirts of São Paulo. Using unorthodox methods, he focuses on preventative medicine. His routine changes with the arrival of Laura, a recently graduated and ambitious young woman.
