A love letter to the capital indeed, To You Moscow also functions as a quickie review of Russian history.

It was a tenet of Vladimir Lenin that electrification plus Soviet power [vlast] would lead to Communism. Electricity is shown dramatically uniting the economies of USSR and the Eastern bloc countries through production of consumer goods like Czech crystal and Hungarian buses.

The Dragon, the lord of the sea, fell seriously ill. The court doctor Jellyfish, prescribed him a liver of Monkey. So they had to look for someone who could leave the sea and go to the land. Rusalochka opens in modern day Copenhagen, Denmark. Several tourists gather around the capital's famous mermaid statue, as a tour guide explains its significance. Upon reaching her 15th birthday, the Little Mermaid is allowed to swim up to the surface above. As soon as she does, however, the Mermaid spots a young prince caught up in a dreadful storm. She admires the man's bravery and decides to save him, declaring that, "The beautiful and the brave should not perish." After the mermaid returns to the ocean, she decides that she wants to become human.

Not long ago, a boy Makarka lived in this area. One day after his grandmother left for the city, Makarka cleared up and began to break trees, shoot nests with chicks, cut his own name on the trunk of a tree. An old oak tree made a remark to him: is it possible? On this insolent Makarka boldly said that nothing terrible. Then the angry trees and birds decided to teach the unfit boy a lesson, and something like that started, from which the bully reluctantly had to think and ask for forgiveness.
