After many years working for a multinational company, Hugo Vaca is laid off and must face the harsh reality of the job market. On the verge of despair, he connects through a friend with a group of investors who offer to buy his house, valued at one million dollars, at 50 percent of its value, but with usufruct rights until his death. Cornered by reality, he accepts the deal, but things end up becoming much more complicated than he expected.

The film tells the life of Tito Pereyra since his childhood in a town of Tucuman (with an absent father) until the 1980 s in Buenos Aires, when democracy was restored. During that period he makes decisions that will change his life forever.It shows a human being with both bright and dark aspects, whose contrasts seem to determine his destiny.
