Life Is Wonderful is a feel-good movie about love and longing. Best friends Mees and Boelie are spending a beautiful spring day in Amsterdam's Vondelpark. It seems like just a normal day, until they meet the young and attractive Panda. While the heat rises in the park, it's nowhere to be found between the long-married couple Etta and Ernst-Jan. Ernst-Jan suspects Etta of cheating and has his own ideas of how to catch her in the act. We also meet Rosa and Kees, old lovers whose paths cross after decades of not seeing each other. On this spring day in Amsterdam, their love starts blooming again.

Belgium, 1978. Katja, Roxy, and a group of other lively girls are too young for love, but still they are almost mothers. In a hidden location, pregnant teenage girls await the birth of their babies in secret. Some want to put their mistake behind them as soon as possible, but Katja, herself an orphan, clearly wants something different: she longs to have her own little baby. They form close friendships and distract themselves with strange games, until the bubble bursts, and Katja becomes painfully aware of the plans that the nuns are making behind their backs. Ben and Lize, two former high school-sweethearts in their mid-twenties, encounter each other again in the parking lot of their old high school, while a reunion-party is going on inside the building. After some awkward catching up, they come to the realization that they have become complete opposites in more ways than ever before.: While Ben continues to live a rebellious existence as an artist, without concern for structure or long-term plans. Lize has transformed into an overworked yuppie, who is currently expecting her first child. At this moment, it seems that the only thing they have in common is that they don't really feel like attending this reunion. High school reunions tend to be dreadful occasions where people only come to boast about their apparent success in life. Why did Ben and Lize even bother showing up in the first place? Perhaps deep down, they hoped to find something here that they couldn't find elsewhere.

During the annual holiday with his parents at a campsite in Spain, Benjamin (16) falls in love with a Flemish girl operating a local supermarket with her mother. She is beautiful and intriguing and drags him along on an adventure that takes a dangerous turn. This will be a summer he will never forget for the rest of his life.

Vermist is a Dutch language crime drama produced by Belgian broadcaster VT4 and Netherlands production company Eyeworks. It is broadcast on VT4 and a French language version—Urgence disparitions—is shown by W9. Based on the characters and background of the successful Flemish film Vermist, the first episode was broadcast on March 25, 2008. A second season was broadcast in 2010.
