A character, directly addressing the viewer, attempts, through his or her knowledge, a historical reflection on the Paris Commune of 1871. A series of five tableaux retraces the major phases of the events. First comes the analysis of the Second Empire. Then comes the fall of the Empire and the proclamation of the Republic on September 4, 1870. Based on texts by Jules Vallès, several actors evoke the event in the contemporary setting of the large housing estates of Bobigny. The third part deals with the period October-March 1871, during which the people of Paris felt, little by little, betrayed by the government. Finally, March 18 is the revolutionary day. Inspired by Bertold Brecht's "Days of the Commune," actors perform the episode "Madame Cabet's Canon." The fifth part, entitled "Two or Three Things I Know About Her," directly evokes the work of the Commune, building and imagining a better world...

Jip, a young piano teacher in Paris, lived in the cozy comfort with his mistress Mona, who is twenty years older, until he met the young and lovely Rita. Together, they lead a bohemian lifestyle and go on a trip to the south. But on their return, Rita falls ill ...

A group of friends listen as one man tells them a story about a time when, in a small cafe, he discovered a peephole into the ladies' bathroom and became addicted to looking through it at female genitals. They ask him questions and come to conclusions about sex. This is a filmed, scripted version. Then, the actual person who this happened to relates the same story; this time, however, it is an unscripted documentary, in which the same things occur as in the scripted one.

In this rambling comic tale about a man and a wife, with four children, who calmly announce to the children that they want to divorce one another, it is impossible to tell who is dissatisfied with whom about what. They had seemed to be a perfect couple. Their flabbergasted children have mixed feelings, and the most difficult thing about the divorce, besides understanding why it is taking place at all, is deciding what will happen with the couple's numerous pets.

David, a Jewish filmmaker in his thirties, is working on a screenplay with autobiographical overtones. His girlfriend, Anna, with whom he lives, finds his story very narcissistic.

Inspired by a story, that of a woman who, in the 1940s, organized a commando operation on Boulevard des Hirondelles to get her lover out of prison.
