Children Without is a 1964 American short documentary film directed by Charles Guggenheim, about a young girl and her brother growing up in the housing projects of Detroit. It was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Documentary Short. Preserved by the Academy Film Archive in 2016.

A clean-cut teenager ends up joining a neighborhood gang when the father of the girl he likes refuses to allow his daughter to date him because she is too young.

Don and Nicky head into the city, where a reckless night with two fast girls leaves Don with more than he bargained for. Pressuring his girlfriend Betty into sex, he unknowingly passes along a venereal disease. When the school doctor diagnoses him with syphilis, Don must face the shame of his actions and warn Betty—before it’s too late.
