Told from Mowgli's point of view, it's the story of how a boy became a mancub and a mancub became a man.

A young boy, Anselmo, faces his fears of bullies and his drunk, abusive father. He escapes reality by reading his comic book, “The Mighty Blitz,” and learns to stand up for himself with the help of his mother.

After a self-destructive lifestyle nearly kills her, tormented young Anne learns to open up and let go of her traumatic past through a new found passion for boxing.
