Film is about the undercover assignment of a BKA officer as the bodyguard of a drug baron. His job is to gather information to put a stop to the cartel. But unfortunately everything goes wrong, "The Bodyguard" is exposed and eliminated in Turkey. He survives, returns and wants to complete his mission despite betrayal within his own ranks.

Comic artist Brösel trades a magic pen that helps him come up with funny stories for the promise to fulfill one of Rumpelstiltskin's wishes. The resulting animated films show episodes of the life of Werner, a plumber apprentice and motorbike enthusiast and his friends. They are interspersed with the live-action portions.

The world is full of miracles, especially during the shimmering heat of a seaside summer. Anja and Frank are enjoying their family vacation sailing on the Baltic Sea. Anja leaves their two young children alone on the boat for just a moment and when she returns, they are nowhere to be found.

Frida unexpectedly falls pregnant and Felix, the father of her child, breaks up with her to reunite with his ex using methods which are absurd, exaggerated and often hilarious.

Melanie is in her mid-thirties and works for the Brandenburg police. Her precinct is the province north of Berlin. Melanie likes it when anybody likes her. If it gets political, she keeps herself out. But that's no longer so easy when her best friend Lydia, an ex-daily soap star, makes herself important as a populist influencer with right-wing slogans in her home village and a street disappears overnight. Its bumpy cobblestones were the last evidence of a dark time when building material for the Wehrmacht was mined at the Kiessee, today a bathing area. Forced laborers and concentration camp prisoners toiled here. Elementary school teacher Anja considers it a thoughtless mess that this stone memorial to history should simply be asphalted. With brown homeland paroles, Lydia heats up the mood in the village and earns good money through clicks on the Internet. When the violence escalates, law enforcement officer Melanie, who is addicted to harmony, has to decide which side she is on.
