Spring 1941. A group of soldiers under the command of Lieutenant Alexis Komninou, protects the border at Fort Rupel and prepares to accept the German attack. The officer together with the soldier Kosmas Georgiou undertake a spying mission of the German forces in Bulgaria.

A wealthy man is responsible for his friend’s daughter, who has come to Athens to study. The girl messes up his life and soon falls in love with him. Although he behaves like a father to her, he is tempted and jealous and flirts with her in front of a charming classmate of her, who is also interested in the girl.

Grigoris (Kostas Voutsas), a shopkeeper from Katerini, wins the first prize at a radio station that covers his expenses for a week in Athens. Arriving in the capital, the members of two gangs think it is Polydoros, the man who was to carry a stolen ancient statue to sell it to a rich collector. Grigoris, by chance, acquires the statue, and the captain (Kostas Kazakos) of a gang, with the help of a charming woman (Eleni Prokopiou), tries to trap him. Eventually, Grigoris will be hunted by both the gangs and the police ...

Lisa (Xenia Kalogeropoulou) runs away from her father at the Athens airport because she does not want to marry a rich man from Paris whom her father has chosen for her. She hitchhikes to the city, where she meets Giorgos (Kostas Kakkavas) a handsome driver. Then, she runs away from him as well and tries to find her mother’s brother (Iordanis), whom she has never seen before. Her father publishes her photo in the newspapers and offers a reward of one hundred thousand drachmas to anyone who finds her. Lisa is now afraid that everyone can identify her, and so, in order to hide, she mingles with a group of tourists. However, she is unaware that her uncle is their guide. Giorgos has followed her in order to find out the reason she left him so suddenly, takes her in his car one more time, and they spend the night together.

The Antonis Maras, a successful professional, and his wife Olga live a peaceful and happy life until the Antonis discovers the double life of his wife. Instructs s` an employee to monitor and eventually will discover that the husband goes secretly to a remote house. The secret of Olga, however, is that extorted by a coil holding her brother hostage. Shortly after the Occupation, businessman Konstantinos Mavroleon approaches Alekos Kallergis, a fallen aristocrat and professional gambler, and offers to hire him for three months for a large sum of money. Alekos was initially surprised. However, when Mavroleon explained the situation to him, he finally accepted. At the beginning of the war, Mavroleon's daughter, Olga, met army officer Dimos Fokas, who was killed shortly afterwards. Her father, however, told her that he had been taken prisoner. Olga is seriously ill and will die in three months. Mavroleon thought of giving her a few moments of happiness, since Alekos looks remarkably like Dimos. His daughter, although she suspects the deception, accepts the man close to her, so that she can end her life with the deceptive feeling of the presence of the man she once loved.

A struggling trio of artists has a chance encounter with a sad industrialist, and decide to undertake three challenging tasks to make him happy. Each day is a new one. So, good morning, Athens, and good morning new life. Will they succeed?
