When Kuba finds out his girlfriend Ewa is pregnant, he reflects on life and wants to prepare to do everything he can to be a great father and provider. Kuba wants to be a responsible man but he isn't sure what is the ideal way to live. He visits his three uncles seeking their advice on what he should do. As they all have their own perspectives, each of his uncles guides him in new directions.

Wojtek spends his days sitting on a forest pulpit and tracking grouse plundering nearby villages and towns with foresters. One evening he returns through the fields from work and stumbles upon a strange phenomenon. A house is moving in the distance. Or rather, a single lighted window. When he returns the next day, the situation repeats itself. Day by day more and more windows appear. Intrigued, Wojtek tries to unravel the poetic-abstract riddle.

He will help her realise her potential and teach her how to recognise various types of men for what they are, she will teach him what real life is about. The show will become a huge hit. It seems they are destined to fall in love and be together, but one day she actually does meet Mr. Perfect on the net.

Franciszek finds out from a doctor that his mother is on the verge of death. Unable to watch over her, he hires a village wise-woman, Palchowa, to tend to his Mother in her last moments.

The action of the series is an extension of the threads that appear in the feature film. It presents in a realistic way the brutal and dark world of crime that officers encounter on a daily basis. They're not just tracking down murderers. They fight racketeering, kidnapping, drug trafficking while struggling with their own day to day life and problems.
