El Gran Combo

A tribute to the iconic mega salsa band, Puerto Rico's own, El Gran Combo.

70% of the rum sold in the United States is produced in Puerto Rico. This 35-minute short film tours the island's distilleries and places of historial importance, highlighting the Puerto Rican rum industry. It has the participation of Puerto Rican music figures such as Kany García, El Gran Combo, Pedro Capó and Wisin.

Rhythms, Images, and Memories "Estampas de mi Tierra" celebrates the festive season in a house transformed into a stage, taking us on a journey through time with anecdotes, photographs, and songs. This musical and visual tour transports us to different corners and moments of Puerto Rico, evoking memories of yesterday and today. Salsa, merengue, pop, and other genres weave the story of this moving production.

Jíbaro Machuchal inherits a piece of land in Condado Beach. When he arrives, he finds a hotel has been built on his land.

Manuel, the manager of the (real-life) Hotel Condado Beach in San Juan, and his assistant Paquito decide to promote their establishment by offering free "honeymoons in Puerto Rico" to newlywed couples.

This documentary examines the musical tastes of Puerto Rico's youth. The terms "cocolos" refers to those who prefer salsa music, and "rockeros" to those who prefer rock music. Through interviews and an array of musical settings, the film explores the young people's feelings in a humorist yet serious manner, bringing to the forefront issues of biases and national identity inherent in this innocent yet very powerful form of social entertainment.
