Midori Mantani and Masao Minamisawa are both 28-years-old. They have dated for 4 years, but their relationship seems to be just going through the motions. They think about breaking up. At that time, Midori becomes pregnant. Midori and Masao decide to marry. While preparing for their wedding, they become more familiar with each other's background. Midori Mantani grew up with parents who ran an iron factory in a provincial city that didn't offer much in terms of culture. Unlike Midori, Masao Minamisawa grew up in Tokyo and his family was wealthy. His father worked as a photographer and his mother was a doctor. He now works as a web designer. The couple begin to have a better understanding of each other.

In a present, Asako, a housewife, lives with her 5-year-old son in a country side, separated from her husband who runs kindergarden. When she was young, she lives with her mother and young sister in a tiny and dirty apartment. A scar on her thigh, underwear, smell of those places... One day, those elements of her two different times comes cross strangely.

Makoto, who doesn't get along with her boyfriend, family, or friends, goes camping with a childhood friend she meets again, but... "We're just bored," Makoto murmurs, and the way she lightly and deeply empathizes with her overwhelmed heart is exquisite.

A woman named Saki is discovered covered in blood and sat next to the body of an actor in the elevator hall of a condominium. She smokes a cigarette and seems stunned. The film takes audiences back two years in the past, a time when Saki, a staff member on a film, met the actor, Sho, on set and fell in love. He used her badly and had another woman on the side and so Saki reveals how strong her love is and the event occurs that night we first meet her. A short film directed by Shinzo Katayama, whose debut feature film Siblings of the Cape attracted and was screened in different countries. He also has a credit as an AD on Bong Joon-Ho’s mystery-thriller film Mother and Nobuhiro Yamatshita’s The Drudgery Train. The script is by Yukiko Sode who is responsible for Good Stripes and Aristocrats.

Yoshida is a young man working part-time at a convenience store. As he is about to leave after finishing his shift, Taniguchi, a girl who works with him, calls out to him, saying, "I have a favor to ask of you, Yoshida." Her request is, "I want you to invite a customer who often comes to the store to buy condoms to a group date." Yoshida does as he is told, but the customer becomes suspicious of the sudden turn of events and leaves. Meanwhile, Yoshida continues to live with his ex-girlfriend, leading a messy life. The two begin talking about each other in Yoshida's room, but they can't understand each other at all. Before they know it, they end up in bed...
