A comedy narrating the adventures of ten Puerto Ricans looking for a better life. The film centers on an airplane trip to New York during 1960's. It relates in a comical, yet poignant manner, the array of reasons each of the passengers has for leaving Puerto Rico and the challenges they face as suggested by the interactions of the Anglo crew and the passengers.

Manuel, the manager of the (real-life) Hotel Condado Beach in San Juan, and his assistant Paquito decide to promote their establishment by offering free "honeymoons in Puerto Rico" to newlywed couples.

The story of a small town, young, humble, and likeable man, who wants to be a singer, but his family opposes. Inspired on José Miguel Class' life.

René and some gunmen take control of an island. His former girlfriend Isabel visits him, but notices he has subjugated his partner. Realizing his cruelty, she tries to run away, but is captured and imprisoned.
