This charming animated adventure follows a young polar bear, Lars, as he befriends Robbie, a seal. Together, these two form a friendship that proves different breeds of animals can get along perfectly well.

Lars is experiencing exciting adventures again. First he discovers a sunken ship with Robby, then he drives away evil bandits and finally a strange bird appears at the North Pole: It's Caruso, the singing penguin.

With the help of a magic stone, Marietta transforms her little brother Tobias into a little dog - but the situation threatens to get out of control.

Noah's Island was an animated children's television series made by the creators of The Animals of Farthing Wood and commissioned by the European Broadcasting Union. It was directed by Philippe Leclerc and Alan Simpson and written by Elphin Lloyd-Jones and John M. Mills. Each episode, of which there were 39, ran for 28 minutes. Although not as successful as Farthing Wood, it was fairly popular on Saturday mornings in many of the homes of the United Kingdom, particularly with its younger target audience. Based on the Bible story, Noah's Ark, the series was praised for its characterization, imaginative storylines and for introducing ecological themes in a way that delighted children.

Follows the adventures of Lars the little polar bear and his friends Lena the snow hare and Peeps the snow goose with the fun and mischief they get up to in the North Pole, all whilst making interesting discoveries along the way.
