A motley of vacationers on a bus headed for a week long vacation at a seaside resort. Among them: a single, moderately famous singer; a nerdy, onanistic man; a couple of old ladies reaching senility; a couple of young gals looking for an amorous adventure; a family with a boy unsure about where he fits sexually; a beautiful woman that, besides working as a trip guide, has pretensions of being a music composer; a couple of gay men; and another family where the parents are stuck in a sexual ice age while their twentyish daughter is looking to connect with a man.

On the morning before his wedding, Bill wakes up in bed after a night he doesn't remember, with a girl he doesn't remember, and he doesn't even remember what happened between them. And the girl says a lot. There is nothing left to do but immediately hide her in the bathroom and, with the generous help of best man Tom and poor maid Julie, who accidentally got involved, try to keep everything secret from the bride and her mother, while the joyfully drinking father begins to cause slight complications for the hotel staff. Everything gets even more complicated when Tom finds out which girl spent the night with Bill.

Since then these two ladies, by now already of certain age, have had a brush with one another and have done spiteful things to each other. And they have been vying with each other in finding a new Eva Herzigová so that they could make a long nose at the other from international fashion catwalks. When beautiful young Martina appears, whose beauty literally takes everyone's breath away, they start fighting to get her into their "barn". Who will win? Is this fight going to deepen their rivalry? Or are these two quarreling "grandmothers" going finally to bury the hatchet and to renew their friendship?

Anna spends every summer with her husband in a neighborhood a few dozen kilometers outside Prague. They've been together for ages, so their marriage, as is so often the case, has become routine and stereotyped. For a long time, the man has divided his time fairly between drinking with friends in the pub and making ship models of matches in bottles; His wife is virtually invisible to him. Anna spends several days each summer and enjoys regular meetings with her friends and colleagues who visit her in picturesque Central Bohemia on bike tours around Kamýk Castle.
