Filmmaker Fang Li and his crew explore exhaustive historical investigation, as far as possible to find the core of the British, American, Japanese and Chinese parties and descendants, trying to infinitely close to the truth of the World War II "Death Ship" — "Lisbon Maru", which is 30 meters under the sea off the East Polar Island in Zhoushan, China.

The villainous Shadow Master allies himself with Queen Felina, the bitter leader of the White Tiger tribe. Using an ancient time portal, they travel back to the age of the dinosaurs to harvest the three ultra-powerful DinoTerra Crystals. Realizing the threat to the timeline, King Paddle Pop, Leona, and their companions chase them through the portal into the prehistoric world to stop the Shadow Master from claiming absolute power.

When the evil Shadow Master attempts to plunge the entire world into eternal darkness, Paddle Pop and his friends learn of a legendary artifact capable of restoring light: the Sun Crystal. To retrieve it and reverse an ominous magical eclipse, the heroes must embark on a dangerous magical quest to locate Prince Thunder and the magical elements hidden within the mysterious world of magic.

The Shadow Master allys with Queen Felina, the leader of the White Tiger nation, who holds a grudge against the Lion nation.
