In Zaragoza's Parque Grande, a man courts a woman.

A man finds a metal ring in a pile of scrap metal that matches the size of his head to crown himself king of the place. An unwelcome beggar arrives and finds another, shiny, and more royal crown. The "king" observes it and is envious of the symbol; he cannot allow anyone to try to take his place. He attempts to seize it, and they fight to the death. The "king," triumphant, keeps the crown.

A group of people take shelter from the storm in an old spa served by a marriage and a servant. It is a very diverse group, highlighting a man who, with his wife, carrying a briefcase full of money. At night, at dinner in honor of the newcomers is a power outage and shortly afterwards, they realize that the man with the briefcase has been murdered.
