At the Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux, Raphaël Pichon conducts a new production of Rameau's opera Dardanus, with the ensemble Pygmalion, in a staging by Michel Fau and a choreography by Christopher Williams.

L'Incoronazione di Poppea by Monteverdi is the last Opera of the Monteverdi trilogy filmed by the Italian label and producer Dynamic at the Teatro Real, Madrid, May 2010.

The oratorio concerns the Christian martyr Theodora and her Christian-converted Roman lover, Didymus.

In the new production of the Return of Ulysses at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées all the ingredients were gathered for a successful show: the music of Monteverdi, a mythological story, a wonderful orchestra on period instruments, baroque specialists like Magdalena Kožená, Isabelle Druet and Katherine Watson, and finally the exuberant Rolando Villazón.
