IMAT (Incident Medical Assistance Team) is an emergency medical team formed to treat patients who are injured on crime scenes. The doctors on this team are often sent to dangerous destinations. The protagonist, Akira, lost his father in a terrorist bomb explosion in his childhood, and he is a doctor with an unparalleled will to save others. Takuma, a detective on the SIT (Special Investigation Team) has the polar opposite personality. He too lost his father in the same incident as Akira. Akira and Takuma tackle problems in opposite ways, sometimes going head to head with each other.

Kaori, the principal of Tanimoto Gakuen, a major player in the beauty industry, is aiming to expand into Shinjuku in order to make further progress. However, she is overtaken by the president of the Beauty Association and others. Then, a mysterious man, Segiyama, appears before her. He tells Kaori that he will take back the rights to the salon in Shinjuku in exchange for campaign expenses.

A Japanese company is being targeted by a Chinese financial group that takes advantage of weak and struggling firms - in other words, a vulture. A Japanese financier/former vulture Masahiko Washizu is recruited to fight the threat.

Dr. Shindo seems cold, but is a competent surgeon. He is also an ER doctor capable of accurate decisions and treatment, who always tries to see things from the patient’s side. While this human drama depicts the relationships among doctors and nurses, it appeals emotionally to viewers on the subject of life.

Four young physicians are assigned to the “Doctor Helicopter” system, the latest medical system where a medical team is dispatched to the patients via helicopter to provide medical care in the field as soon as possible. The doctors experience traumatic medical situations, deal with personal ambitions, and witness the fragility of life, all while growing personally and professionally.

Takako reluctantly handles divorce cases with her incompetent crew. For an elite lawyer like her, divorce cases are the most boring and unrewarding cases that exist. Through clashing with her employees and clients, Takako soon becomes a very mature and tough lawyer. "Divorce Lawyer" also tells the story of how difficult it is to judge love and relationships in legal terms.
