The story of Kasym Kaysenov, a Kazakh whom became a hero of the Soviet Union whilst fighting against the invading German army during World War Two .

A woman is led by her family to her new husband's home, to live with, presumably, his elderly mother and younger brother. Despite being forced into the marriage, she discovers that he is not such a bad catch after all but domestic bliss does not last long.

The story of a boy named Bibble and an old musician Kasymkhan, their accidental acquaintance, which grew into a great friendship. The old man becomes a native person for the boy. Bibol realizes in the process of communicating with Kasymkhan that it is only thanks to the spiritual and moral qualities of a person that true happiness can be achieved.

Kazakhstan. A group of Muslim fundamentalists escapes from Aktau city prison, who staged a terrorist attack on the set in front of a young actress Taira. Hard going through this stress, she goes to her older brother, who lives nearby, on the shore of the Caspian Sea. There she meets Marius, an ornithologist from Europe. While helping him photograph birds, she falls in love with him, unaware that he is the leader of the terrorists. When the hands of a loved one are covered in your brother's blood, your heart is torn to pieces, and you need to make the most terrible choice in your life.

A film version of the famous Mukhlisov gang case. In May 2001, an audacious robbery of a collection car of one of the commercial banks of Almaty took place. During this attack, which took place 50 meters from the American embassy in Almaty, several people were killed. The attackers managed to seize the sum of 700 thousand dollars, after which they carried out a number of raids on exchange offices and organizations of the southern capital. The crime was solved fairly quickly, but it remained for a long time, both in the memory of citizens and law enforcement officers.

The prototype of the main character was the famous Soviet saboteur Kasym Kaysenov, who fought in Ukraine during the Great Patriotic War.
