Through the Camera Eye is a videocassette/laserdisc release by the Canadian band Rush. It was released in 1985 by PolyGram Records. It contains promotional videos issued for the band's albums Moving Pictures (1981), Signals (1982) and Grace Under Pressure (1984).

Ah, the '80s! A time of hair bands and their ludicrous MTV videos filled with spandex-clad band members and skimpily clad bimbos. Kiss: Exposed returns us to that forgettable era, as Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons show how to desperately try to remain cock rock's elder statesmen. This 1987 compilation serves up several now-hilarious video clips from Kiss's '80s "unmasked" period, including "Tears Are Falling," "Heaven's on Fire," "Lick It Up," and "I Love It Loud." (Count the fires burning in these classic video relics of days gone by!) Also on hand are Stanley and Simmons themselves, looking properly embarrassed as they act out rock's biggest fantasy: lounging by the pool with a bevy of (mostly) bare beauties. The saving grace is the generous selection of vintage live performances: hearing the band do "Strutter," "Detroit Rock City," "Ladies Room," and "Deuce" in its late-'70s prime is worth wading through the outdated '80s-style power pop... if you're a real Kiss fan, of course.

From Zodiac Mindwarp’s completely excessive ‘Prime Mover’ (directed by TV’s ‘The Young Ones’ star Adrian Edmondson) and the LA Guns’ intelligently sleazy ‘Sex Action’ to such prize rarities as KISS’ sexier European Version of their mega-smash ‘Reason To Live’ and Bon Jovi’s never-seen-on-TV ‘Wild In The Streets’, ‘ROCK ‘N’ ROLL MELTDOWN’ is highly volatile. It is therefore recommended that those possessing it keep it out of sight and reach of those parents or guardians inclined to confiscate such art in a misdirected attempt to insulate their kids from the real and exciting world. The year 1984 was a memorable and exceptionally successful year for Golden Earring. When the lady smiles was released in early February, and became number 1 thanks to the controversial video by Dick Maas, which can be admired in the original version on this DVD. As well as the 3 other historical Dick Maas - Golden Earring videos, by the way. More original and better videos have never been made in the Netherlands. On March 3, the album N.E.W.S. from, (including 'When the lady smiles). That album also hit number 1 and stayed on the album chart for 18 weeks. And on March 7, Golden Earring started its 11th (!) - and in hindsight last - American tour of a total of 38 performances, which the group took to Hawaii.
