The Flying Opera is the first Avantasia live album by German power metal vocalist Tobias Sammet, released in March 2011. It was recorded during their first world tour in 2008, in support of the album The Scarecrow.

A documentary concert film documenting the German thrash metal band Destruction's complete live set during their appearance at the Wacken Open Air festival in 2007. The second portion of the film details the history of the band from the beginning with exclusive interviews from the band and others.

Bloodbath are an extreme metal supergroup from Stockholm, Sweden. Formed in 2000, with a mutual fascination for the glory days of death metal, the band's line up boasts an all-star cast. Anders Nyström and Jonas Renkse (Katatonia), Mikael Akerfeldt (Opeth) and musician and producer extraordinaire Dan Swanö are joined by Martin "Axe" Axenrot, also from Opeth, for 'The Wacken Carnage'. 'The Wacken Carnage' features Bloodbath on relentless form at a rare live appearance captured on 6th August 2005 at the infamous Wacken Festival, Germany, with the unmistakable vocal prowess of Mikael Akerfeldt backed up by a solid wall of buzzsaw death metal riffing. Bloodbath pulverise the senses (and the audience) with a stream of classics spanning their recording career to date.

Live Consternation is a live album and video by Swedish heavy metal band Katatonia, released in both CD and DVD format through Peaceville Records on 28 May 2007. The album features a live performance recorded at Germany's Summer Breeze Open Air festival on 17 August 2006. The artwork was designed by Travis Smith and closes the visual concept for The Great Cold Distance.

Pretty Maids are celebrating their 30th anniversary as a band with It Comes Alive. This release follows up their successful and highly acclaimed 2010 album Pandemonium, which, by fans and reviewers alike, was rated as the best Pretty Maids album since their heyday back in the '80s. On October 1st 2011, Pretty Maids gathered with an enthusiastic and highly explosive crowd of diehard fans in Pratteln, Switzerland to fulfill the demand for live product from the band. The outcome of that special night can be witnessed on It Comes Alive which shows the band at the top of their game, performing songs spanning a 30 year career.
