Anthology film with a number of sketches that satirize modern Greece.

Professor Algeras becomes the target of foreign agents working for major powers, who use every legitimate and illegitimate means at their disposal to try to get hold of his scientific discovery. The most ruthless and unscrupulous foreign agent, who ultimately traps Algeras, is Milko, who comes from the countries behind the Iron Curtain. It eventually transpires that Milko, who has been brainwashed, was the professor's only son, lost during the communist child abductions.

The Adamastos family consists of the father, Major Adamastos, the mother, Captain Eugenia and their daughter, Soldier Vicky. The father defies women in the army while the daughter falls in love with a second lieutenant justifying her father's opinion, but the mother manages to highlight the all-female Company's work.

A young man pushed beyond his endurance remembers his life on the roof of a tall building. He's there to commit suicide.

A sociologist of misfortune, Tasos, with the help of a private detective, Annita, offers two underachievers, Jason and Prokopis, the admittedly exceptional opportunity to spend twenty days in a luxury hotel, because he wants to study the reactions of two working-class types in a posh environment. There, together with Jason's best friend, Sardela, they meet the following characters: an underwear entrepreneur, Markos, who wants to sell two of his companies, and two representatives of another entrepreneur who wants to buy them. Meanwhile, Sardelas falls in love with a singer, Jason's classmate, who is flirting with an actor in order to help her band. Jason falls in love with Anita, who reciprocates his feelings. She reveals to him the "sociologist" game. Jason takes advantage of this and wins five million drachmas.

Under the scorching sun of the rugged Greek countryside, the young star-crossed lovers, Aggelos and Irini, dare to dream of a better future in dazzling but faceless Athens. Amid fear and prejudice, the couple has planned everything down to the last detail; however, the lack of money, and a momentary lapse of judgment, will condemn the two companions to a life of misery, as every police officer from their small village to the bustling capital is already informed of Aggelos' crime. Now, they have no other choice but to swallow their pride and hide. But, the road to Athens is long and perilous, and only God knows what dangers lie ahead. Will the runaway lovers ever find happiness?
