When presented the portrait of beautiful princess Carolina, he is so enchanted that in return he sends his portrait to her, but spoiled and proud princess Carolina selfishly rejects him. King Benjamin decides to win her over and, disguised as a gardener, manages to work at her castle,” reads a synopsis provided by All Rights. He finds out that the princess was once happy and kind, and with the help of music and flowers, she falls for him. When her counselors, eager to remain in power, found her a weak prince to marry, Carolina and Benjamin hastily flee together. The many obstacles they face in their escape will bring them closer. However, Benjamin will still have to reveal the truth, but love and happiness will prevail.

A small town somewhere in the north. The body of a brutally murdered young girl, Anna, is found by the river. The investigation is taken up by the determined criminalist Laura Linhartová (Kristýna Ryška), and her old colleague Adam Beneš (Kryštof Hádek) is assigned to her. The main suspect is a recently convicted perpetrator who is responsible for a similar murder. Just when it seems that the search for Anna's murderer is over, new evidence appears that brings the whole case back to the beginning. The criminalists thus embark on a complicated investigation full of unexpected twists and turns. The circle of suspects in the small town expands dramatically. The tension between Laura and Adam rises, not to mention their different characters and shared past. And the question still hangs in the air: Who killed Anna Pittnerová?

David (Jiří Macháček) has one task: to investigate paranormal cases. But he doesn't feel like it. It's the 1980s, and there are a lot of annoying people who call each other "comrade." He doesn't believe in anything paranormal anyway. He prefers to sit in his office, pretending to work on research into satanic references in Western music, and enjoys listening to LPs that no one else in the country has. The world would be beautiful, but his superior assigns him a new colleague, Vojta (Jan Cina). This overzealous newcomer talks about pushing the boundaries of human knowledge and how science doesn't have answers to all the mysteries of the world yet. This mismatched duo has no choice but to cooperate in investigating bizarre cases that all other security forces in the state can't handle. To make it harder, they are constantly monitored by a pair of StB agents – the tough agent Snížková (Anna Fialová) and the sweetheart Hora (Leoš Noha).
